ASHLEY PERCIVAL ILLUSTRATORINTERVIEW BY GNAM BOX Ashley! Your art for us was love at first sight! We’re so proud to make this interview and we hope that our followers will be crazy about your amazing illustrations and all the wild funny animals you draw… So let’s start with the questions! Are you a great cook?I wouldn’t call myself a great cook, I do enjoy cooking, my favorite dish to cook is curry, I like experimenting with lots of flavors. What’s your favorite dish?My favorite dish would be a good curry, I like vegetable and meat curries. Tell us about your art? When did you start to draw?I started drawing when I was a child and have always loved it. Art was my favorite subject at school, all of my school books where covered in doodles and drawings. What’s the meaning of your illustrations?My illustrations are quite quirky and sometimes surreal, I would like to think that my artwork can be liked by all ages and make people laugh and smile. I like to think my artwork in fun and different. Where do you get your inspiration?I get most of my inspiration from animals and nature, the comes from my imagination. When i’m not illustrating I like to go walking with my camera photographing wildlife. Tell us about your animals…I have always been interested in wildlife and nature, I love to draw birds and animals. Some of my inspiration for my illustrations comes from myself, like the hats, jumpers, and expressions. Whats your favorite drawing?My favorite piece of work is the Little Owl Wearing Glasses. I love Owls, My friends has three Little Owls that live in the field opposite her house, I always watch them and photograph them.
